TYPICAL ITINERARY

Begin your fantastic 12-night Las Palmas to Bridgetown Cruise from Las Palmas on Silver Cloud. Relax and enjoy your leisurely days on the sea as you cruise to:

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, controlled by Spain, but actually 112 km (70 mi) off the coast of southern Morocco. It sits in the shadow of the volcanic peak of Mt. Teide, which at 12,198 feet is Spain's highest mountain. The slopes leading up to Teide are covered with pines in the north and barren lava fields in the south. Popular with vacationing Europeans, the resort towns of Tenerife win no prizes for beauty, but the natural attractions more than compensate for the late-20th-century high-rise hotels and apartment blocks.

St. John's, Antigua
Some say Antigua has so many beaches that you could visit a different one every day for a year. Most have snow-white sand, and many are backed by lavish resorts that offer sailing, diving, windsurfing, and snorkeling. The largest of the British Leeward islands, Antigua was the headquarters from which Lord Horatio Nelson (then a mere captain) made his forays against the French and pirates in the late 18th century. You may wish to explore English Harbour and its carefully restored Nelson's Dockyard, as well as tour old forts, historic churches, and tiny villages. Appealing aspects of the island's interior include a small tropical rain forest ideal for hiking, ancient Native American archaeological digs, and restored sugar mills. Due to time constraints, it's best to make trips this far from port with an organized shore excursion. But you can easily take a taxi to any number of fine beaches on your own.

Roseau, Dominica
In the center of the Caribbean archipelago, wedged between the two French islands of Guadeloupe, to the north, and Martinique, to the south, Dominica is a wild place. So unyielding is the terrain that colonists surrendered efforts at colonization, and the last survivors of the Caribbean's original people, the Carib Indians, have made her rugged northeast their home. Dominica—just 29 mi (47 km) long and 16 mi (26 km) wide—is an English-speaking island, though family and place names are a mélange of French, English, and Carib. The capital is Roseau (pronounced rose-oh). If you've had enough of casinos, crowds, and swim-up bars and want to take leave of everyday life—to hike, bike, trek, spot birds and butterflies in the rain forest; explore waterfalls; discover a boiling lake; kayak, dive, snorkel, or sail in marine reserves; or go out in search of the many resident whale and dolphin species—this is the place to do it.

Castries, St. Lucia
There are islands in the Caribbean that are more popular than St. Lucia, though they may be far less beautiful. This island has been one of the Caribbean’s best-kept secrets. Visitors who have had unforgettable vacations on green-clad St. Lucia are pleased that the crowds are gathering elsewhere. However, increased building of resorts and villas will escalate tourism in the near future.

Bequia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines
The Grenadines comprise a string of 100 tiny, rocky islands and cays, which are scattered between St. Vincent and Grenada. Bequia, called "the island of the clouds" by the Carib Indians, is the largest of the St. Vincent dependencies. The seven-square-mile island attracts a good number of yachtsmen and smaller cruise ships. Boat building and repair work is still an important part of the island’s heritage, but tourism has become increasingly important. Apart from unspoiled beaches, the island's interior consists of hilly and forested terrain, interspersed with a variety of fruit and nut trees.

Bridgetown, Barbados
Barbadians (Bajans) are a warm, friendly, and hospitable people, who are genuinely proud of their country and culture. Tourism is important to the island, but there's a sophisticated business community and a stable government, so life here doesn't skip a beat after passengers return to the ship. Barbados retains a very British atmosphere: afternoon tea is a ritual, and cricket is the national sport. The atmosphere, though, is hardly stuffy. Beaches along the island's south and west coasts are picture-perfect. On the rugged east coast, the Atlantic Ocean attracts world-class surfers. The northeast is dominated by rolling hills and valleys; the interior of the island is covered by acres of sugarcane and dotted with small villages.

OTHER INFORMATION

As the inaugural ship for Silversea Cruises, Silver Cloud epitomises everything that is Silversea. Since its launch, Silver Cloud has travelled to all corners of the world while introducing her guests to a superlative level of luxury. Designed to provide the most intimate of sailing experiences, a Silver Cloud cruise provides 296 privileged guests with the luxury of space and the ability to slip into exotic ports off the beaten path. Each ocean-view suite provides a sumptuous retreat. Each public space is intimate yet inviting. Silver Cloud is often described by returning guests as their own private yacht, their home away from home. In 2010, Silver Cloud explores South America, the Caribbean, and Mexico; crosses the Atlantic for summer in Northern Europe and autumn in the Mediterranean; then returns to the Caribbean for the year-end holidays. 2011 finds the Silver Cloud ship lingering amidst balmy Caribbean tradewinds and crossing Panama to explore Mexico before travelling northward to summer in Iceland, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. Autumn in Andalusia is followed by an eastward jaunt to Italy and the Greek Isles before Silver Cloud returns to the warm Caribbean waters and explorations in the Amazon.

ABOUT Silversea Cruises

World’s Best Luxury Cruise Line

In a global world of continually merging, multi-national conglomerates, Silversea Cruises is owned and operated by one family — the Lefebvres of Rome. That means genuine pride in ownership and a true Italian passion for embracing the best of life. And that also means a deep commitment to maintaining the high standards of cruise excellence that have been the cornerstone of Silversea from the very beginning.

Silversea is recognised as the defining luxury cruise experience. In the early 1990s, the Lefebvre family conceived and organised this unique, luxury cruise line, pledging to build and operate the highest quality ships in the ultra-luxury segment and to offer a product unlike any other. Silversea launched its first ship in 1994, thus creating a new niche for the ultra-luxury travel market with a class of smaller, purpose-built vessels that could slip into more exotic ports off the beaten path.

These elite and intimate ships are specifically designed for fewer guests, featuring more space and the highest levels of personalised service. Accommodations are amongst the largest at sea; all have ocean views and butler service and most feature private verandas.

Dining is an exquisite affair with open-seating options so guests dine when, where and with whom they desire. But what is also unique is that although the ships are intimate, they incorporate amenities usually found only on larger ships, such as an elaborate show lounge featuring nightly entertainment, casino, and state-of-the-art spa and fitness facilities. As an innovator in the ultra-luxury cruise segment with all-inclusive pricing and an unmatched onboard lifestyle, Silversea is the preferred luxury cruise line among modern affluent travellers from across the globe – providing for a convivial cosmopolitan ambience and yet another unique Silversea distinction.

Following the launch of Silver Cloud in 1994, Silver Wind in 1995, Silver Shadow in 2000 and Silver Whisper in 2001, Silversea introduced Silversea Expeditions aboard the Prince Albert II in 2008, offering the uncommon experience of authentic adventure combined with signature Silversea luxury. In late 2009, Silver Spirit debuted as Silversea’s beautiful new flagship. Together, these magnificent Silversea cruise ships offer an expansive schedule of worldwide voyages that encompass all seven continents.

Silversea caters to the cosmopolitan world traveller and maintains branch offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Singapore. The company’s headquarters are based in Monaco.

It contains complete and important information regarding cancellations, itineraries, Silversea’s liability, health and immigration requirements, and other relevant terms and conditions. The terms and conditions of the Passage Contract will apply to persons who have booked a cruise regardless of whether or not they have embarked the vessel. Please read your Passage Contract carefully. To the extent that any of the information on the website conflicts with the terms of the Passage Contract, the terms and conditions contained in the

Passage Contract shall control.

Itinerary arrival and departure times are always subject to change without notice. Silversea reserves the right to cancel, alter, advance, postpone or substitute any scheduled sailing or itinerary, substitute another vessel for the scheduled ship, or substitute or cancel scheduled ports of call, which, in its sole judgment and discretion, is justified for any reason, and to do so without liability for any loss whatsoever to guests as a result of said change(s). Additionally, Silversea reserves the right to cancel reservations and bookings in the event of a full-ship charter, whether or not a deposit or full payment has been received, and in such event, Silversea’s only liability will be to refund to the guest the amount it has received. For published segmented voyages, a limited number of suites are available. Segments are capacity controlled.

Silversea makes arrangements for transportation, other than ocean passage, only as a booking agent. Silversea’s responsibility does not extend beyond the vessel. In arranging for the transportation of guests to and from the ship, Silversea does so with independent contractors. Silversea is not responsible for incidents such as airline cancellations, re-routings or any disruption of scheduled services or accommodation, or lost

luggage.

Travel Agents are considered to be the agent of the guest(s) and not of Silversea. Silversea is not liable for any representation, act or omission by the guest’s travel agent.

All schedules, fares, and terms and conditions listed on this website are effective as of February 2012 and supersede any schedules, prices, and terms and conditions previously published.

All fares indicated on this website including land, air and hotel, are capacity controlled, subject to change at any time without notice and do not guarantee availability. Special savings programmes are all subject to change and/or cancellation without notice.

Independent contractors retained by Silversea (including but not limited to: lecturers, guest personalities, bridge instructors, guest hosts, chefs, enrichment specialists and entertainers) are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice.

Silversea makes every effort to adhere to the specifics shown on this website, however circumstances may necessitate variations. All information contained herein is subject to change.

Cruise Fare, Fees, Credits & Payments

Cruise-Only Fare
Your cruise-only fare covers most shipboard services including: suite accommodation, all onboard meals and entertainment, all gratuities aboard ship (except spa) and complimentary beverages aboard ship (including select wines, champagnes and spirits). On a limited number of select sailings, a special Silversea Experience shore event is also included. All fares are quoted in Australian dollars, are per guest and based on double occupancy.

Not included in your cruise-only fare are: optional hotel accommodation, transfers and luggage handling, fuel surcharges, optional shore excursions, meals ashore, meals in Le Champagne and Seishin Restaurant, accommodation whilst ashore, security surcharges, casino gaming, laundry or valet services, purchases from the ship boutiques, childcare services aboard ship or any item or service of a personal nature such as massages, spa treatments, private fitness instruction, hair styling and manicures. Some champagne, premium wine and spirit selections, caviar, cigarettes and cigars are not included in your fare.

Under normal conditions the cruise-only fare is guaranteed at the time of booking. However, the fare that you pay is determined far in advance of initial departure on the basis of then-existing projections of fuel and other costs. In the event of any significant change in such costs beyond Silversea’s control, including but not limited to increases in the price of fuel, currency fluctuations affecting Silversea’s costs, increases in government taxes or levies, or increased security costs, Silversea reserves the right to surcharge guests to cover such unexpected costs. Silversea has the right to refuse to transport guests unless the additional surcharge is paid in advance of initial departure.
For Silversea Expeditions Embarking and/or Disembarking in Ushuaia, Longyearbyen, Churchill and/or Kangerlussuaq

If applicable to voyage, purchase of Charter Air Package is required for all guests regardless of utilisation, may only be cancelled upon complete cancellation of the cruise reservation, and is 100% non-refundable 60-0 days prior to the initial embarkation date. Flight origination and flight times, once advised, are subject to change without notice. Not included in the Air Charter Packages are: port charges; government fees and taxes; transportation pre and/or post-cruise to and/or from the applicable originating airport, unless otherwise specified. Charter flights are all Economy Class and upgrades are not offered. Guests will be automatically invoiced and the applicable Air Charter Package will be displayed as a separate line item.

Single and Third Guests
A limited number of suites are available for purchase on a single- or third-guest occupancy basis. The supplement for single occupancy ranges from 25%–100% above the double occupancy fare, depending upon the sailing and suite selected. Suites for single and third guests are capacity controlled. Fares and supplements are subject to change without notice based on availability.

Taxes & Government / Quasi-Government Fees
Taxes and Government/Quasi-Government Fees are included in the cruise fare. These charges include taxes and fees imposed on Silversea by governmental or quasi-governmental agencies and include, but are not limited to, such items as arrival or departure taxes and per person port usage or impact fees. Savings and incentive programmes do not apply to Taxes and Government/Quasi-Government Fees or to the portion of the guest's cruise fare, which is non-commissionable pursuant to the Silversea’s travel professional commission policy.

Please note that guests joining or leaving the cruise in any port other than the scheduled embarkation and/or disembarkation port, may be subject to additional governmental taxes, fees or fines.

Cruise Credits
Silversea Cruise Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may only be used in conjunction with the purchase of a Silversea cruise prior to the expiration date. These credits are valid toward the Silver Savings Fares and are applied to bookings after the Air Credit, Venetian Society Savings, Extended Voyage Savings and Onboard Savings. Certain restrictions may apply.

Payment Schedule
To reserve your Silversea cruise, a 25% deposit of the total cruise fare is required within seven days of booking or sooner, depending on voyage and time of booking. Full payment is due no later than 120 days prior to departure. Guests will not be permitted to change travel agents once final payment is received by Silversea. Final documentation will be issued after receipt of final payment and approximately 30 days prior to sailing. All reservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by the due date and are guaranteed only when paid in full 120 days prior to sailing. Reservations made within 120 days of sailing require full payment within seven days of booking or sooner, as specified by Silversea. Payments may be made by wire transfer, or by VISA®, MasterCard®, American Express®, Discover Card® or Diners Club® credit cards.

Silversea’s cancellation penalties as described here are strictly enforced. No refund or adjustment will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation of the cruise holiday after the commencement of same. Silversea reserves the right to re-invoice in the event of errors.

Minors & Childcare

Silversea cruise guidelines state that minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied, in the same or connecting suite, by a parent or other responsible adult over the age of 21. If the adult accompanying the minor is not their parent, a parental consent guardianship form must be signed by a parent or legal guardian and received by Silversea prior to sailing. Guests must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume alcohol. Silversea reserves the right to refuse to serve anyone who in its sole judgment may be under the influence of alcohol, or for any reason necessary in its judgement to preserve the health and safety of guests and employees.

Silver Explorer cannot accommodate infants under the age of 1 year. Silversea Cloud, Silver Wind, Silver Shadow, Silver Whisper and Silver Spirit cannot accommodate infants under the age of 6 months. Guests must notify Silversea of any children between the ages of 6 months and 1 year who will be sailing on board the ship. A signed and notarised waiver will be required for all children between these ages. Although Silversea accepts guests over the age of 6 months (over the age of 1 year for Silversea Expeditions), there are no special programmes for children on board, and Silversea does not provide for the care, entertainment or supervision of children. Silversea reserves the right to limit the number of children less than 3 years of age.

In addition, the Zodiacs used for Silversea Expeditions are unable to accommodate children younger than 6 years of age. As Silversea does not provide babysitting services, an adult family member will be required to remain on board Silver Explorer with their child(ren) during Zodiac excursions.

Travel Documents
All travel documents (air and cruise tickets, passport, medical card, inoculation verification) are the guest’s responsibility. It is also the guest’s responsibility to obtain any necessary visas and public health documents for all applicable ports and to comply with all customs requirements. Without the required documents, a guest may be denied boarding and accommodation by Silversea, or the guest may be disembarked during the voyage and Silversea will not make a refund or be otherwise liable to any guest for such denial of boarding or disembarkation. In the event that Silversea, as a courtesy, provides information or advice as to necessary travel documents, visas and medical inoculations, guests are still obligated to verify such information with the appropriate government authorities and Silversea does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy of such information. Some countries require passports to be valid six months beyond intended stay. Please check with the appropriate consulate for specific requirements.

For cruises that include Canadian ports, please contact your local Canadian Consulate for Canadian travel requirements.

Security measures imposed by governments may change from time to time and each guest will be required to comply with them. As a courtesy, Silversea will endeavour to provide each guest with notice of measures that may affect them, but complying with any such requirements is the sole responsibility of each guest. Please consult your travel professional for advice on such requirements to avoid loss of boarding privileges.

Luggage
You may bring aboard the ship a reasonable amount of clothing and personal effects without charge. Luggage for Silversea guests or guests on Land Adventures must be handled in accordance with regulations and tariffs of airlines and/or ground operators. Luggage exceeding these limitations is subject to the charges as set forth by the individual operators. Airlines are strict with luggage limitations. Guests are encouraged to contact individual airlines for weight limitations. Guests are, at all times, responsible for airline baggage fees. For travel to/from and within the United States, please visit https://bags.amadeus.com/ or the individual air carriers' website for a complete listing of baggage fees.

Guests are also encouraged to pack a smaller bag for all Land Adventures to avoid extra luggage charges. All luggage must be securely packed, and properly and clearly labelled. Liquid, fragile, perishable and other articles not suitably packed are transported at your own risk. Silversea is not responsible for loss or damage to luggage or any other personal item during air travel, Hotel Programmes, Land Adventures or shore excursions.

Luggage and personal belongings will be taken off the ship upon guest disembarkation. Under no circumstances will luggage be stored onboard without the owner of such luggage being on the vessel. Silversea is not responsible for luggage stored in shoreside facilities.

Under no circumstances may dangerous items (including but not limited to: explosives, firearms, combustible or illegal substances) be taken aboard the ship. Silversea recommends that you hand-carry travel documents (passport, visa, cruise tickets), medications and valuables. These items are the full responsibility of the guest at all times. Silversea shall not be responsible for the loss of, or damage to, such personal items.

Lost Property
Silversea may levy a charge for the return of personal items left on board or lost and subsequently found.

Health & Medical Requirements
All guests are required to report in writing to Silversea at the time their reservation is made:

1. Any physical or mental condition that may require medical or professional treatment or attention during the voyage
2. Any condition that may render the guest unfit for travel, or that may require special care or assistance
3. Any condition that may pose a risk or danger to the guest or anyone else onboard the ship
4. Any condition that may require oxygen for medical reasons
5. Any intention or need to use a wheelchair aboard ship.

By booking passage and by boarding the ship, the guest represents and warrants that he/she is physically and otherwise fit to travel, and that the guest will comply at all times with applicable rules and regulations of the ship and orders and instructions of the ship’s officers and medical staff. Silversea reserves the right without liability to require a guest to disembark and/or to refuse to board and transport a guest who, in the judgment of Silversea or the ship’s Master or Medical Officer, is unfit to travel or may require care beyond that which Silversea is reasonably able to provide. Silversea strongly recommends wheelchair guests travel with someone who is able to assist them both ashore and at sea as Silversea may be unable to offer special assistance. Please note that wheel-on and/or wheel-off access may not be available at some ports-of-call. Wheelchair guests must bring their own collapsible wheelchair.

Pregnancy
At the time of booking, expectant mothers are required to supply a medical certificate establishing their fitness for travel at the time they are due to travel. Silversea is unable to accommodate women who have entered their twenty-fourth week of pregnancy and will not be responsible or liable for any complication relative to any pregnancy during the entire duration of the cruise. Additionally, airlines may have restrictions on travel that may differ from Silversea’s. Please contact your travel professional or airline.

Silver Shore Programmes
Silver Shore Excursions
Shore excursions for most ports-of-call may be reserved 120 days in advance of voyage departure by visiting Silversea.com/MyVoyage, and will also be offered for purchase on board, subject to availability. All shore excursions and Land Adventures are operated by independent contractors and Silversea acts only as an agent in booking them and shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or death arising out of any service provided. These independent contractors may impose additional limitations of liability. Certain shore excursions including those with hotel stays and/or flights may have different reservation deadlines and guests may incur penalties if cancelled after those deadlines. Some optional pre- and/or post-cruise Land Adventures, shore excursions or special events are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of participants is not met. Silversea reserves the right to cancel without notice at any time.

Silversea Expeditions guests enjoy complimentary excursions aboard Silver Explorer.

Silver Shore Concierge
When utilising this optional service, a charge of AU$150 per port will apply. This non-refundable charge will be credited to the cost of your final arrangements.

Silver Shore Simply Hotel, Grande Hotel and Land Adventures

All fares listed for the Hotel Programmes and Land Adventures are per guest, based on double occupancy. Single accommodation is available for an additional charge. Silversea reserves the right to substitute hotel selection and provide transfers and porterage as applicable. All Land Adventures require a minimum number of participants in order to operate as described. If this minimum number is not met, Silversea reserves the right to offer the programme at a different rate based on private arrangements, or to cancel the specific departure. Silversea’s published cruise cancellation policy will remain in effect. All Hotel Programme and Land Adventure fares are subject to change and not guaranteed until payment is received in full by Silversea.

Embarkation/Disembarkation

Unscheduled Embarkation/Disembarkation
International cabotage laws may prohibit guests from embarking or disembarking their voyage in any port except the main scheduled embarkation and disembarkation ports. If you choose to embark/disembark your voyage at any unscheduled embarkation/disembarkation port, you may incur additional charges intended to cover any fine or penalty levied against Silversea and any other additional costs.

Rest Assured Programme

True peace of mind. If, for any reason, you have to cancel within 120 to 1 days prior to departure, Silversea’s Rest Assured Programme™ provides a 100% Cruise Credit on any and all charges paid including air, pre- and/or post-cruise hotel and land programmes (less any penalties incurred by Silversea such as airline, hotel or tour operator cancellation fees), which may be applied toward a future Silversea cruise. Additional restrictions may apply.

North and South American Guests

The fee for Rest Assured is 4% of each guest's Total Holiday Cost when purchased with travel insurance that includes trip cancellation benefits. Proof of travel insurance coverage must be provided at the time of your Rest Assured purchase. If you purchase Rest Assured without travel insurance, the fee is 9% of each guest's Total Holiday Cost. United Kingdom and European Guests
Looking forward to a holiday with Silversea should be like every other part of your vacation — filled with excitement, anticipation and peace of mind knowing that Silversea takes care of every detail. Still, there’s always the unforeseen before you sail. It’s affordable, too — just 9% of your total holiday cost. (Minus, of course, the fee for Rest Assured.)

You can apply your credit toward any Silversea cruise departing during the following 12 months. But you can only use your credit for the cruise-only portion of your voyage. It cannot be applied towards port charges, government fees and taxes, or the purchase of air upgrades, land programmes, transfers and Silversea GuestCare.
